Visit Formentera between June and September. August is the high season, with the highest levels of occupancy.

  • Night in Formentera

While Formentera’s nightlife cannot be compared to neighboring Ibiza, Formentera is also a great place to have a good time. Remembering that this island is more sought after by tourists looking to relax in quieter places.

  • Camping is prohibited

Camping is not allowed on the island, for the more adventurous there is only the option of sleeping on the beach

Top things to see and do in Formentera:

 

  • Playa Illetes

Among the main beaches in the island, Playa Illetes is the most popular in the summer, although it has a much quieter northern part reserved for nudism.

  • Playa Migjorn

Playa Migjorn is very popular and has some of the most popular bars on the island. The beach has a long extension and is characterized by its white sand and transparent water.

  • Cala Saona

Cala Saona is a hidden gem in the western part of Formentera. The beach stands out for having red cliffs, which contrast with the incredible blue of the sea.

  • Cala Savina

Located between the port of La Savina and the beach of Cavall d’en Borras, you will find Cala Savina, with golden sand and some rocky stretches. The place is perfect for those looking for a quiet environment, perfect for a good walk.
